After a couple of years of stops and starts, a national chain of casual restaurants and sports bars has finally opened in Danvers, making this its second location in the Boston area.
According to a poster on Chowhound, Buffalo Wild Wings is now open at the Liberty Tree Mall. (An earlier article in the Boston Globe mentioned that it has taken over the space where Vinny T's used to be.) The new Buffalo Wild Wings--which is also known as BW3--joins another location that opened this past April on Main Street in Saugus.
Back in 2009, we had reported that BW3 had been looking to open in the former Boater's World space on Independence Way, but that apparently fell through somewhere along the way.
Buffalo Wild Wings first started out in Ohio in the 1980s, eventually growing to more than 700 locations today, according to the chain's website. BW3 features both traditional chicken wings and boneless wings, along with other items such as nachos, mini corn dogs, ribs, burgers, and cheesecake.
The address for this new restaurant in Danvers is: Buffalo Wild Wings, 100 Independence Way, Danvers, MA, 01923. The website for the restaurant chain can be found at http://www.buffalowildwings.com/
