A culinary event is coming to a dining spot in the Downtown Crossing section of Boston, with three well-known area chefs participating.
An email sent by the restaurant indicates that Petit Robert Central will be hosting the Downtown Chef Showdown on Sunday, June 26 at their Summer Street restaurant in the 101 Arch Street Building. The event will include a cocktail hour that features complimentary appetizers and live DJ sets, followed by the competition itself, where chefs prepare two dishes using a secret ingredient. The dishes will be judged on taste, originality, and presentation, with both the judges and the audience participating in the voting process.
Chefs that will be participating in the Downtown Chef Showdown include Marc Orfaly of Pigalle and Remick's, Marc Thompson of Stoddard's, and Chef Jason Santos of the upcoming restaurant Blue Inc.
Festivities begin at 5:30 P.M.
