Slate Bar and Grill Moving into Former Brigham's Space in Boston's Financial District

According to a poster on the Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook page as well as another poster on the Chowhound site, Slate Bar & Grill is planning to open on High Street, taking over the spot where Brigham's had been until closing in late 2009 (the Brigham's chain subsequently filed for bankruptcy a short time later). We will try to confirm an exact opening date over the coming days, so keep checking back for updates.]

[February 17, 2012 update: A phone call placed to Slate Bar & Grill indicates that they are now open for business, with their official opening being on Monday, February 20.]

The address for this new restaurant and bar in the Financial District is: Slate Bar & Grill, 109 High Street, Boston, MA, 02110. The website will be at
