A new restaurant is coming to a luxury hotel in downtown Boston, replacing another dining spot that closed a couple of months ago.
According to the website for The Ritz-Carlton, Boston Common (which is on Avery Street), the Artisan Bistro is planning to open in September, taking over the space where Jer-Ne Restaurant and Bar had been for approximately ten years. It appears that the Artisan Bistro will feature inventive dishes using locally-sourced and seasonal ingredients, as well as a number of microbrews and cocktails, and it will be open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The restaurant will include a bar as well as a dining area.
[September 16 update: According to UrbanDaddy, the Artisan Bistro is expecting to open on Tuesday (September 20).]
The Ritz Carlton recently saw the opening of another eating and drinking spot called the Avery Bar, which opened in June of this year. Unlike the Artisan Bistro, which will be more of a true restaurant, the Avery Bar is more of a place to get drinks along with small bites.
The address for this new restaurant in downtown Boston is: Artisan Bistro, 10 Avery Street, Boston, MA, 02111. The website for The Ritz-Carlton, Boston Common, can be found at http://www.ritzcarlton.com/en/Properties/BostonCommon/Default.htm
