A trio of restaurants located north of Boston will soon have a fourth location, with this one also being north of the city.
According to the restaurant's website, The Dockside is getting ready to open in Chelsea, with an earlier Chelsea Record article stating that the new spot will be located in the old Demoulas supermarket building on Everett Avenue. The article mentions that the new Dockside plans to have a capacity of about 140, with room for 55 more at the bar. A patio with a capacity of about 60 appears to be in the works as well.
The Dockside is known mainly for its classic American fare and pub grub, including such items as nachos, burgers, steak tips, prime rib, and pizza. Other Dockside restaurants can be found on Centre Street in Malden, Medford Street in Malden, and Main Street in Wakefield.
At the present time, there does not appear to be a specific opening date for the Dockside in Chelsea, but based on a recent Craigslist post, the dining spot is currently hiring, so it may be opening fairly soon.
[November 9 update: It looks like the new Dockside Restaurant in Chelsea is very close to opening, as their Facebook page mentions a contest to win VIP Passes for their private opening weekend. (The drawing will be held on November 21.)]
