It looks like a new coffee shop is on its way to East Cambridge.
According to a License Commission Hearing page within the City of Cambridge website, Cafe Kafofo is planning to open on Cambridge Street (at the Eighth Street intersection). A poster on the Chowhound site mentions that a handmade sign is now up for the coffee shop, stating that the place will be opening soon, though it is not known at this time exactly when the place will open.
The City of Cambridge page mentions that Cafe Kafofo is looking to have a capacity of 20, with hours being 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM seven days a week.
[December 18 update: According to their Facebook page, Cafe Kafofo is now open, and it is offering items such as coffee, croissants, muffins, and sandwiches.]
