Home Sweet Home Dessert Tasting Event to Be Held in Cambridge, October 22, 2011

A dessert tasting event and competition that raises money to help the homeless is coming to Cambridge later this month.

An email sent from Image Unlimited Communications indicates that the fourth annual "Home Sweet Home" charity event will be held on Saturday, October 22 from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM in the Presidential Ballroom of the Cambridge Hyatt Regency on Memorial Drive. The event, which is presented by The Cambridge Housing Assistance Fund, will include a dessert competition, with local dessert chefs having their creations judged by Annie Copps (food/wine writer; host of Daily Dish on WGBH; contributor to the Today Show on NBC), Andrew Rimas (Editor, The Improper Bostonian), Amy Traverso (Senior Lifestyle Editor at Yankee Magazine), and Jill Epstein (Publisher of Where to Eat Boston). Home Sweet Home will also feature music, dancing, wine tastings, raffles, and auctions. Billy Costa of NECN's TV Diner will be hosting the event.

Tickets to Home Sweet Home cost $50 for regular admission, and $100 for VIP admission (which includes a buffet dinner and the wine tasting).
