It looks like an eclectic cafe and caterer in the South End of Boston is expanding its existing space.
According to the Union Park Neighborhood Association (UPNA), the South End Buttery on Shawmut Avenue plans to take over the adjacent space that had been occupied by Hudson, a furniture and home goods store. UPNA mentions that the former Hudson space at 312 Shawmut Avenue will be used as a market and bakery with baked goods, food supplies, and prepared dishes offered. The cafe at 314 Shawmut Avenue will continue to operate as is.
[August 28, 2012 update: The BosGuy site is reporting that the South End Buttery Market is now open next door to the cafe.]
As reported earlier, a second location for the Buttery may also be coming, as they are planning to open another spot on nearby Clarendon Street, between Columbus Avenue and Tremont Street. [Article: South End Buttery to Open a Second Location in Boston's South End ]
