Tokyo Steak House to Move into Former Twitters Space in Saugus

A Japanese restaurant is going to be opening in Saugus, and it will be replacing a family-friendly dining spot that closed earlier this year.

According to the Saugus Advertiser and Wicked Local, the Saugus Board of Selectmen voted in favor of a liquor license and an entertainment license transfer application for Tokyo Steak House, which will begin to renovate the space where Twitters Bar and Grille had been (Twitters was open for less than a year, shutting down this past January). The article mentions that the new eatery, which may have a capacity of approximately 160, looks to feature hibachi, sushi, and hotpot, and it will be open for lunch and dinner.

If all goes as planned, Tokyo Steak House could be open by the holidays, according to the article.

It is not known whether Tokyo Steak House is connected with the group of Tokyo Steakhouses in Andover, Nashua, and Salem, NH, or the Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse in Braintree; as soon as we find out more, we will post an update here.

The address for this soon-to-open restaurant in Saugus will be: Tokyo Steak House, 1201 Broadway (Square One Mall), Saugus, MA, 01906.
