A new Chinese restaurant has opened in Arlington Center, replacing another Chinese spot that had been open for approximately a year.
A check on the dining spot this week indicates that Golden Taste is now open on Medford Street, having taken over the space where Chef Co's had been until closing several weeks ago. Chef Co's first opened in August of 2010, replacing yet another Chinese restaurant called Beijing Kitchen, which had been in that spot for about five years.
The menu at Golden Taste is much like that of Chef Co's, featuring a mix of Chinese-American and traditional Chinese fare. Items on the menu include spring rolls, wonton soup, sesame chicken, basil beef, shredded pork with garlic sauce, shrimp with lobster sauce, sauteed baby bok choy, steamed tofu with vegetables, and crispy lemon fish. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week, and it does both takeout and delivery as well as catering.
