A culinary event that benefits an organization focused on the prevention of skin cancer returns once again to Boston in December.
The fifth annual Bubbles and Bites is going to be held on Wednesday, December 7, from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM at the Ritz Carlton Boston Common on Avery Street (by Boston Common). The event will once again be co-hosted by former Boston Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling and his wife Shonda, and a number of local chefs will be participating, including Brian Poe (Poe's Kitchen at the Rattlesnake), Jason Santos (Blue Inc.), Dante de Magistris (Restaurant dante), Gianni Caruso (Bricco), Todd Winer (The MET Back Bay), Fabian Ludwig (Ritz Carlton Boston Common), Armand Toutaint (Turner Fisheries), Benjamin Knack (The Bedford Village Inn), and Graham Schave (Coda Bar and Kitchen). Desserts will be provided by Olivia's Organics and desserts and The Hard Rock Cafe. The event will also have live music, dancing, and auctions.
Tickets to the 2011 Bubbles and Bites cost $150 each, with proceeds benefiting the SHADE Foundation of America, a non-profit organization that helps teach children and the community in general how to prevent skin cancer.
