One of Boston's most interesting neighborhoods for food is going to be seeing the return of a culinary event later this month.
According to The Boston Globe, the 16th annual Taste of Eastie is coming to the Hilton Boston Logan Airport Hotel in East Boston on Thursday, January 19 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The article mentions that the event will feature foods from Central and South America, the Mediterranean (including Italy), the Middle East, and China, with more than two dozen restaurants, caterers, and event planners included. Musical entertainment will be on hand as well at this year's Taste of Eastie.
A few of the dining spots that will be participating in the event include Angela's Cafe, Dough, Ecco, El Kiosco, El Paisa Restaurante, Great Chef Chinese Food, La Chiva, Mehak, Mi Pueblito Restaurant, Restaurante Montecristo, and Roy's Cold Cuts & Pizzeria.
Tickets are $35 and can be ordered through the East Boston Main Streets website at http://www.ebmainstreets.com/
