A diner in Allston opened its doors this week, moving into the space where a Pakistani and Indian restaurant used to be.
According to their Facebook page, the Allston Diner is now open on Cambridge Street, taking over the former Grain and Salt spot (Grain and Salt closed last June). The new diner, which is open for breakfast and lunch daily--and serves breakfast all day long--features classic comfort food and diner fare, including such dishes as chicken and waffles, a breakfast montecristo, crepes, waffles, pancakes, French toast, omelets, cinnamon rolls, house-made corned beef hash, BBQ brisket, grits, macaroni and cheese, a fried chicken sandwich, burgers, and a reuben.
Hours for the Allston Diner are 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM seven days a week.
