It looks like the folks behind a couple of Asian restaurants in the Boston area have replaced a Chinese and Japanese restaurant on the South Shore with another Chinese and Japanese spot.
According to their website, Gourmet Garden is now open in Hingham, taking over the space where Asian C had been. The people who own Jae's in Brookline and another Gourmet Garden (in Swampscott) appear to be behind the new place as well as the now-closed Asian C itself, as the websites for Asian C (which remains up even though the restaurant is closed) and Gourmet Garden in Swampscott both indicate connections to Jae's.
The menu at the new Gourmet Garden in Hingham mentions a focus on dishes featuring organic food, with hibachi items, sushi, noodle dishes, moo shi, teriyaki, tempura, agemono, and more available.
