A new Middle Eastern and Mediterranean takeout restaurant has just opened in the downtown section of Quincy.
According to one of our readers--and confirmed by the restaurant's Facebook page--MidEast Kitchen is now open on Hancock Street (near the Quincy Center T station), moving into the space where Over Easy used to be. An earlier Patriot Ledger article mentioned that the person behind the new spot used to run the Cedar Cafe, a Middle Eastern restaurant in Hanover. Based on photos posted on their Facebook page, MidEast Kitchen offers such items as falafel, stuffed grape leaves, shish kebab, tabouleh, hummos, and baba ghannouj.
Hours for MidEast Kitchen are 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Saturday (the restaurant is closed on Sundays).
