A popular restaurant and bar in Allston that was sold last summer has recently gone through some changes, giving it just a bit more of an upscale feel.
According to CBH Communications, Common Ground on Harvard Avenue has been revamped, bringing in a new chef and focusing more on dishes using locally-sourced ingredients and a drink menu that includes craft cocktails and regional beers. The new menu includes such items as hummus, deviled eggs, cream of tomato soup, a serrano ham and fig jam sandwich, a veggie burger, fish and chips, buffalo macaroni and cheese, and turkey tips.
Common Ground has been in Allston for more than 15 years, briefly closing last July during the sale of the place.
