The Taco Truck Is On Its Way to the Boston Area

It looks like a New Jersey-based taco restaurant that also has a pair of food trucks may be looking to bring at least a few trucks to the Boston area.

An article on the Eater Boston site indicates that The Taco Truck has a post within the Craigslist site for job applicants for "multiple locations" in Boston. The Taco Truck, which has a restaurant in Hoboken, a truck that serves Hoboken, Jersey City, and Newark, and a truck at the High Line in Manhattan, features soups, salads, tacos, and tortas, including breakfast tacos and breakfast tortas.

It is not yet known whether The Taco Truck will be bringing just trucks to the Boston area or both trucks and brick-and-mortar restaurants; as soon as we find out more on this, we will post an update here.

[April 18 update: According to their Facebook page, The Taco Truck has a new truck ready, with a note saying that they "are all set for Cambridge and are waiting on final location approvals with Boston."]

[April 27 update: A new Facebook post indicates that The Taco Truck will be at the corner of Flagg Street and Memorial Drive (just east of Harvard Square) this Sunday, April 29, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Also, it appears that the truck will be stationed at Ringgold Park in Boston's South End at some point, as EveryBlock Boston has posted that it now has a business license for 4 Ringgold Street.]
