Restaurant, Ice Cream Shop, and Cafe May Be Coming to Sudbury Center

Sudbury Center is known mostly for its historic structures and classic New England feel, but it has very little in the way of commercial activity--and nothing in the way of dining spots. This could soon be changing, however.

The Sudbury Town Crier and Wicked Local are reporting that Town Selectmen showed support this week for a plan to bring a restaurant, ice cream shop, cafe, and other businesses to 29 Hudson Road (Route 27), which is a few hundred feet west of the main intersection in Sudbury Center. The article mentions that plans for the property, which consists of three buildings, include a patio in the back area which would presumably be used for at least one of the dining spots, though no specific details were given in the article.

Currently, most of Sudbury's dining options are on or just off of Route 20, which is south of Sudbury Center.
