Earlier this week, we reported that Brigham's Ice Cream in Arlington
Heights had closed down, as it had been seized by the state due to non-payment of taxes. It has now been
learned via
the
Boston Globe that the Mass. Ave. spot has reopened, as they have agreed
to make a lump sum payment for part of what they owe the state. The article mentions that Brigham's opened at 11:00 AM today and will remain open under the condition that they pay off the rest of the money owed the state over time.
