O-Sha (a New Thai and Japanese Restaurant) to Open in Watertown

A new Asian restaurant is coming to Watertown, moving into the space where a Thai eatery had been.

Notes from a Watertown licensing board meeting indicate that O-Sha is going to be opening on Arsenal Street, taking over the former Tantawan spot (Tantawan closed last spring). The notes show that the new restaurant will focus on Thai and Japanese fare, and that the manager of the spot comes from Oishii, which is a popular sushi bar in Chestnut Hill. It appears that O-Sha will have seating for approximately 50 and may be open for lunch and dinner, though alcohol will apparently not be available at the eatery.

The address for this upcoming restaurant in Watertown will be: O-Sha, 356 Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA 02472. Their website (which is currently under construction) will be at http://oshaweb.com/
