Tossed to Open in Boston's Financial District

Two years ago, we mentioned that a small chain of quick-casual dining spots that offers made-to-order salads was looking to open a second spot somewhere in the Boston area, with the city's Financial District being one possible location for it. Now we have confirmation that this is indeed where the new outlet will be setting up shop.

MarketWatch is reporting that Tossed will be opening at One Post Office Square in the heart of the Financial District, joining another location that resides at the Prudential Center in the Back Bay. The article states that the owner of the Pru franchise of Tossed is also behind the upcoming Post Office Square branch, and that he has acquired the rights to other future Boston-area locations.

In addition to salads, the Florida-based Tossed chain features soups, crepe wraps, sandwiches, melts, smoothies, and cookies. Their website can be found at http://www.tossed.com/
