An email sent by Kristen Elworthy (marketing and publicity consultant) indicates that Taste of Somerville 2012 will be held at the Holiday Inn on Washington Street on Tuesday, June 5 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, with samples of food, beer, wine, desserts and more offered. Some of the restaurants and food/drink purveyors that are taking part in the event include Amelia's Kitchen, Ball Square Fine Wines, Diva Indian Bistro, Eat At Jumbo's, El Potro, Foundry On Elm, The Independent, Kickass Cupcakes, Maya Sol, Mike's Restaurant, New England Coffee, PJ Ryans, Rudy's Cafe, and others.
Ticket to the 2012 Taste of Somerville cost $30 in advance ($35 at the door), with proceeds benefiting RESPOND, Inc., which is the second oldest domestic violence agency in the United States.
