Wild Willy's Burgers in Needham Has Closed

A small regional group of burger places became just a little bit smaller over the past few days, with one of its Boston-area locations shutting down.

According to their Facebook page, Wild Willy's Burgers in Needham has closed, with a note indicating that they may be looking to reopen elsewhere. (The note says that "We will be in touch when we find our new location.") The Highland Avenue location of Wild Willy's had been open for approximately four years.

Wild Willy's restaurants feature freshly-made angus beef burgers that come with such toppings as roasted green chiles from New Mexico, blue cheese, Thousand Island dressing, and hickory-smoked bacon. The eateries also offer bison burgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, chili, handcut fries, and frappes.

It appears that the other Wild Willy's locations in Quincy, Watertown, Worcester, South Portland, ME, York, ME, and Rochester, NH, will remain open.

The address for this now-closed burger place in Needham was: Wild Willy's Burgers, 1257 Highland Avenue, Needham, MA, 02492. The website for the restaurants is: http://www.wildwillysburgers.com/
