Eater Boston is reporting that Lulu's Sweet Shoppe opened a new outlet on Franklin Street at noon today, and to celebrate, free cupcakes will be handed out until 5:00 PM. The new location, which is actually a kiosk, will feature an array of scratch-made cupcakes, including the "Lulu," which is a cream-filled cupcake, along with red velvet, carrot, nutella, and more.
The original Lulu's Sweet Shoppe opened on Salem Street in the North End in 2004.
