Snap Top Market Is Opening in Boston's South End

A few months ago we mentioned that a wine store in Chestnut Hill was going to be opening in the South End of Boston. Now we have learned that a specialty food and produce retailer is going to be opening in the same building.

Adam's Hospitality & Tourism Industry Blog is reporting that Snap Top Market is planning to open sometime this month next to the upcoming Urban Grape in the building on Columbus Street where the Bryant boutique condos are located (between Clarendon Street and Dartmouth Street). The market's Twitter page indicates that it is looking to open on September 19, while an earlier article in the Boston Business Journal states that the person behind the store is Steve Napoli, whose family owns Idylwilde Farms in Acton.

[September 25 update: According to their Twitter page, Snap Top Market is now open in the South End.]

Expect to see fresh produce, seasonal items, pasta, and gourmet items at the new 800-square-foot Snap Top Market.

The address for this new market in the South End is: Snap Top Market, 303 Columbus Avenue, Boston, MA, 02116. Their website can be found at http://www.snaptopmarket.com/
