A post on their Facebook page indicates that FoMu Alternative Ice Cream & Cafe is planning to open in Jamaica Plain, moving into a space on Centre Street in the heart of the neighborhood. Once it opens, the new FoMu will join its original location on Cambridge Street in Allston.
[April 11 update: A more recent post on their Facebook page indicates that the new location of FoMu in Jamaica Plain will be opening on Tuesday, April 16.]
Based on offerings at the Allston shop, expect the new FoMu in Jamaica Plain to offer non-dairy ice cream made using a coconut base as well as baked goods, gourmet tea and coffee, and smoothies.
