Liberty Bell in Billerica Now Offers a Five-Pound "Bell Buster" Burger

A roast beef and seafood spot north of Boston is now offering an eating challenge that burger lovers may want to check out.

The Billerica Minuteman mentions that Liberty Bell on Boston Road has introduced a "Bell Buster Challenge" in which anyone who is able to eat a 5-pound hamburger with the works and a 32-ounce drink in 45 minutes will have his or her name put on a wall plaque and will also receive a special t-shirt, with the meal being free of charge. The article says that the Bell Buster is made up of 10 patties, 7 slices of cheese, and 12 pieces of bacon, with mayo, ketchup, onions, tomatoes, and pickles included. The monster burger likely contains "at least 5,000 calories," according to the Minuteman.

Liberty Bell can also be found in South Boston, Melrose, Stoneham, and Woburn. The website for the Billerica location is http://libertybellbillerica.com/
