Hogan's Run in Brighton to Close; Being Replaced by Lincoln Bar and Grill

A dive bar in Brighton that has been in business for more than 30 years is going to be closing, though a new spot is moving into the space.

Universal Hub is reporting that Thomas Hogan of Hogan's Run on Lincoln Street is planning to sell the drinking spot to Francis Thomas, who will pay Hogan $250,000 for the place and reopen it as the Lincoln Bar and Grill. UH also says that more options will be added to the food menu at the new place, and the "portholes" will make way for real windows. The Boston Licensing Board will be voting on the transaction tomorrow, according to the article.

There had been talk over the past few years that Hogan's Run had been up for sale..
