Nicola Pizza House in Arlington Has Closed

A pizza place in Arlington Heights that has been in business for several decades has closed its doors.

The Arlington Patch is reporting that Nicola Pizza House on Mass. Ave. shuttered this past Sunday after 42 years in business, saying that the owners are planning to retire. Nicola's was known for both its traditional Neapolitan pizza as well as its Sicilian slices, and it also offered subs, wraps, pasta, and variety of Italian and American dishes, such as veal parmigiana, chicken wings, and steak tips.

According to the article, the owner of Peter Pan Superette on Park Avenue purchased the Nicola's property and the house next door, with one possible option for the spot being a pizza place, though nothing has been confirmed as of yet.

The address for this now-closed pizza spot in Arlington Heights was: Nicola Pizza House, 1215 Massachusetts Avenue, Arlington, MA, 02476.
