According to a post on its Facebook page, Cakeology, which is currently located on Province Street, is planning to open a bigger shop on nearby Washington Street, in what appears to be a move rather than a second shop. The note says that the new store will "be bigger, better and packed full of yummy things for you to eat," with an increase in counter space from 5 feet in the current spot to 13 feet in the new space.
It is not yet known when Cakeology might be opening in its new space; as soon as we find out, we will post an update here.
[September 24 update: Eater Boston is reporting that the move is complete and Cakeology is now open in its new home at 290 Washington Street.]
