A recent License Commission General Hearing page on the City of Cambridge site mentions that Cancun Taqueria is looking to move into a space on Mass. Ave. between Harvard Square and Central Square, with the building being the same one that houses three other dining spots--Zoe's, Cafe Sushi, and Dolphin Seafood. As for now, it appears that the new eatery would be open for lunch and dinner seven days a week, it would not offer alcohol, and it would have seating for 60 plus 4 seasonal outdoor seats.
It is not known whether Cancun Taqueria is related to Taqueria Cancun in East Boston; as soon as we find out more on this place, we will post an update here.
[July 31 update: Based on a photo from Eater Boston, it appears that Cancun Taqueria is moving into the space where Lamole restaurant had been until closing this spring.]
