A Licensing Board page from the City of Boston website indicates that Sofa Cafe is planning to open on Newbury Street, with a Neighborhood Association of the Back Bay page mentioning that the place will be a coffee shop/cafe under a pet supply boutique, and that it will have seating for 10 with soups, sandwiches, and pastries offered. In addition, the Licensing Board page shows that the place could be open from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM daily.
As soon as we have more information on Sofa Cafe (including when it might open), we will post an update here.
[April 4, 2014 update: Eater Boston is reporting that Sofa Cafe is now open, with the place being part of a chain of Brazilian coffee shops (Boston is its first location to open in the United States). Hours for the cafe are 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM daily.]
