Eater Boston is reporting that Tamarind Bay in Harvard Square will shutter its Winthrop Street location at the end of business hours this Saturday (August 10), with an e-newsletter from the dining spot mentioning that it has lost its lease. This comes on the heels of the closing of its other location in Brookline's Washington Square over the spring, with that one being replaced by the soon-to-open Ribelle. The newsletter does mention that Tamarind Bay could reopen in another part of Cambridge, but for now, there will be no more locations of the restaurant starting Sunday.
