UPDATE: Lord Hobo in Cambridge to Remain in Hands of Owner Daniel Lanigan; License Pledge Only to Christopher Schlesinger

[Ed note: This article was edited on October 21 to reflect new information given. Apologies for any confusion this may have caused.]

Earlier it was reported that Lord Hobo in Cambridge might be taken over by restaurateur Christopher Schlesinger. It has now been learned that the License Commission General Hearing page on the City of Cambridge website's note about Daniel Lanigan of Lord Hobo on Hampshire Street applying "to pledge [the restaurant's all alcoholic beverages] license to Christopher Schlesinger" is a simple pledge of said license rather than a transfer, with the pledge acting as collateral (Schlesinger owns the building in which Lord Hobo is housed). We have also been told that nothing will be changing at Lord Hobo.

Last month, the Brewbound site had reported that Lanigan was "making a career change," with his plans being to open a 150,000-square-foot contract brewery on the North Shore called Paragraph 11 Brewing.

Lord Hobo first opened in November of 2009, replacing the B-Side Lounge.

The address for Lord Hobo is 92 Hampshire Street, Cambridge, MA, 02139, and its website is at: http://lordhobo.com/
