According to a poster on the Chowhound site, La Catrina Fonda Mexicana is now open near the intersection of Commonwealth Avenue and Washington Street, with the eatery offering a variety of burritos, quesadillas, tortas, enchiladas, tostadas, tacos, and more (a "Mexican hot dog" is also on the menu as well). The Boston Globe had first mentioned this place back in October of 2012, when it was initially seeking permits to open.
