According to its website, The Chubby Chickpea in Canton has closed its Washington Street location and will move into a new space on Jackson Street (about a mile northwest of the original place), with the note saying that the new shop will give "the opportunity for a much larger operation, even higher consistency, central air conditioning (when it's hot), and plenty of parking!" A new Kosher menu is also going to be in place once the restaurant reopens.
The new location of The Chubby Chickpea is slated to open this Sunday (October 13) if all goes as planned.

The Chubby Chickpea first opened its doors in the summer of 2010, eventually setting up a food truck in Boston as well. Its original menu featured such items as hummus, schnitzel, falafel, and shawarma.
