The Dorchester Reporter mentions that a restaurant tentatively called Boston Burger and Chicken is going to open on Dorchester Avenue, moving into a building in Fields Corner that is going through extensive renovations. The eatery will be one of several businesses coming to the structure--which had once housed the long-closed Emerald Isle bar--including a T-Mobile store that will open in April and a Chinese takeout spot. (The building will have all of the renovations done by June 1, according to the article.)
The address for this new eatery is 1493 Dorchester Avenue, Dorchester, MA, 02122.
[December 29 update: This spot has still not opened, though a recent licensing board page from the City of Boston website indicates that it is changing its name to "BosBurger." In addition, it looks like the address will be 1501 Dorchester Avenue, not 1493 Dorchester Avenue as had previously been said.]
