According to the Food Network's website, Blunch on East Springfield Street will be featured on a new episode of the show, which airs at 10:00 PM (EST). Based on the description of the episode, it looks like Fieri will be focusing on the meat and veggie panini options at the eatery, with the post calling it a "funky little sandwich shop." The Boston Globe gives more information on the episode, saying that the two sandwiches made for the Food Network host were The Bird (roast chicken with artichoke aioli) and The Provencal (goat cheese and a nut pesto).
A number of other restaurants in the Boston area have also been shown on "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives" in the past, including Mike's City Diner in Boston's South End, Rino's and Italian Express in East Boston, Greek Corner, Tupelo, and Mr. Bartley's Burger Cottage in Cambridge, Boston Burger Company in Somerville, Cutty's in Brookline, and The Lobster Shanty in Salem.
