Woo Ri Is Replacing Manna House in Arlington Center

A Korean restaurant in Arlington Center has closed, and it looks like it will be replaced by another Korean dining spot.

A check on the place this week indicates that Manna House on Medford Street is no longer in business, with signs posted out front saying that a Korean fusion restaurant called Woo Ri is slated to move in at some point. It is not yet known whether the new eatery will be under the same ownership as the old place, nor is it known at this point in time when exactly it might open.

[October 2 update: According to a poster on the Chowhound site, Woo Ri is now open, with another poster saying that it is apparently under different ownership from that of Manna House, but that the new owners are friends of the owners of the now-closed eatery.]

Manna House first opened in the summer of 2007 as a Japanese and Korean spot called Manna Sushi, eventually changing its name and putting more of a focus on Korean fare. Other restaurants have also been in the space, including a Mongolian place called Kong Luh and an Indian eatery called Bombay Classic, which was eventually replaced by Manna.

The address for the now-closed Manna Sushi (and new Woo Ri) is 9 Medford Street, Arlington, MA, 02476.
