Mike and Patty's in Boston's Bay Village Reopens

A Bay Village breakfast place and sandwich shop that closed a few months ago--and turned to Kickstarter to help fund a number of upgrades--has opened its doors once again.

Eater Boston is reporting that Mike & Patty's on Church Street is now open once again and it has both a renovated interior and a new menu, including such items as bourbon and rum-caramelized bananas with Nutella on buttered brioche bread. The eatery had shut down back in September due at least in part to the need for its space to adhere to building codes (including the installation of a fire suppression system). This isn't the first time that Mike & Patty's has closed, as the restaurant had a tough go of it in 2012 and ultimately ended up closing until an ownership change took place.

The address for the reopened Mike & Patty's in Bay Village is 12 Church Street, Boston, MA, 02116. Its website is at http://www.mikeandpattys.com/
