Capital One 360 Cafe to Open at the Ink Block in Boston's South End

It looks like a combination cafe/bank will continue to expand into the region, with one now coming to a new complex just south of Boston's downtown area.

The Boston Hospitality and Tourism Industry Blog is reporting that Capital One 360 Cafe is planning to open in the Ink Block development in the South End (by Harrison Avenue and Albany Street), and as is the case with their other locations, it will feature Peet's Coffee. Once it opens, the new cafe will join locations in Downtown Crossing, the Back Bay, Brookline's Coolidge Corner, and Cambridge's Harvard Square, along with others in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco, and St. Cloud.

Expect the new Capital One 360 Cafe to open sometime in May, according to the article.

[June 4 update: The new Capital One 360 Cafe (which will include Peet's) has not yet opened, but its website indicates that it now plans a June opening, and a Licensing Board page within the City of Boston website shows that the board will be meeting to look into the request for a common victualler license on June 10.]

[July 2 update: According to a press release, the new Capital One 360 Cafe at the Ink Block will have a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, July 9, with its grand opening weekend to follow.]
