Sabroso Taqueria in Boston Is Launching a Food Truck

A Mexican eatery that returned to downtown Boston in 2014 after closing down several years ago is going to be bringing a food truck to the city as well.

Eater Boston is reporting (via the Rose Kennedy Greenway Conservancy) that Sabroso Taqueria on Oliver Street is getting ready to introduce a truck for the sixth season of the Mobile Eats program, which starts at the beginning of April. The truck, which will be set up somewhere along the Greenway, will offer such items as quesadillas, tacos, and burritos, according to EB.

The people behind Zo (a pair of Greek restaurants in downtown Boston) reopened Sabroso in the city's Financial District last October, with its new location being a few blocks away from its previous spot on Washington Street in Downtown Crossing (the original location--which was a food stand--closed in 2008).

[April 10 update: A note from Hub Food Trucks indicates that the Sabroso truck is now up and running (it has been at Stuart Street in Boston today).]
