According to an article (and subsequent update) from Eater Boston, DK & Co. is planning to open in Inman Square, taking over the former East by Northeast space on Cambridge Street. (EXNE closed last month after being in business for five years, with owner Phillip Tang moving on to the soon-to-open Banyan in the old Hamersley's Bistro space in the South End.) EB mentions that the upcoming spot will apparently be a mussel and burger bar, with the restaurant's Facebook page saying it will also have a full bar. A License Commission General Hearing page indicates that the city of Cambridge will look into DK & Co.'s plans--including its application for a liquor license--on April 14.
It appears that the people behind DK & Co. are the same folks who run the Woburn location of Lisa's Family Pizzeria, a local group of eateries with several other independently-owned locations north of Boston.
