Stone Hearth Pizza in Needham Has Closed; Hearth Pizzeria Replaces It

A local group of pizza spots that recently closed one of its locations has become a bit smaller once again, and in this case, a pizzeria with a similar name has opened in its space.

According to a press release, Stone Hearth Pizza in Needham is no longer in operation and has been replaced by a new eatery called Hearth Pizzeria. The new restaurant is owned by Ivan Millan-Pulecio, who has been Executive Chef of all the Stone Hearth locations and was given the opportunity to purchase the space by Stone Hearth owner Jonathan Schwarz. The release says that Hearth Pizzeria features Neapolitan-style thin-crust pizza along with salads, panini, pasta, and more, with wine and beer also available at the restaurant.

The Winchester location of Stone Hearth Pizza closed in January as well, with locations in Allston, Belmont, Cambridge, and Hingham remaining in operation.

The address for this new dining spot in Needham is: Hearth Pizzeria, 974 Great Plain Avenue, Needham, MA, 02492. Its website can be found at http://hearthpizzeria.com/
