Downeast Cider in Charlestown Looking for Larger Space

It looks like a local company that makes hard cider has outgrown its current home and will need to move.

According to an article in BostInno, Downeast Cider in Charlestown has grown so much that it has maxed out its space on Terminal Street and is looking for a larger facility. The post says that the cidery has to find a new space as soon as possible and has already looked at one site--the East Boston shipyard--though the deal ended up not working out. The people behind Downeast Cider would like to stay as close to Charlestown as possible, eyeing spaces that ideally range in size from 15,000 to 25,000 square feet that would allow them more space for storage, increased tank capacity, and tastings/tours.

Downeast Cider first started out in Maine in 2011.

The current address for Downeast Cider is 200 Terminal Street, Charlestown, MA, 02129. Its website can be found at http://downeastcider.com/
