Colonial Inn in Concord Is Being Sold

An historic inn and restaurant west of Boston is being sold, and the buyers of the property are behind a couple of other historic spots in the region.

The Concord Journal is reporting that Jurgen Demisch, who owns the Colonial Inn in Concord, will be selling the place to Michael and Dorothy Harrington, who currently own Hawthorne Hotel in Salem and the Publick House in Sturbridge. The article says that the sale will probably be made official during the first week of August, and at this point in time it is not known if there will be any changes made to the property.

According to the Journal, the Colonial Inn was first built back in 1716 and started to operate in its present location on Monument Square in 1889.

The address for the Colonial Inn is 48 Monument Square, Concord, MA, 01742. Its website can be found at http://www.concordscolonialinn.com/
