Wen's Yunnan Noodle and Ramen Is Opening in Boston's Back Bay

A new dining spot is on its way to the Back Bay of Boston, and it looks like it will be featuring a noodle dish that has its roots in the extreme southwest corner of China.

Eater Boston confirms what @TheDrewStarr had said earlier this month, that Wen's Yunnan Noodle & Ramen is opening on Newbury Street, taking over the space where a location of Boloco had been until closing in June. According to EB, Wen's will offer "cross-the-bridge noodles," a 150-year tradition in China's Yunnan Province that consists of soup with a chicken broth that has an oily layer on top, along with noodles and various meat and veggie options. (Japanese ramen will also be available, as well as bubble tea.)

The address for this upcoming Asian restaurant in the Back Bay is: Wen's Yunnan Noodle & Ramen, 247 Newbury Street, Boston, MA, 02116. Its website can be found at http://www.wensnoodle.com/
