Masa Southwestern Grill in Woburn Becomes Masa Taqueria and Tequila Bar

A pair of restaurants featuring southwestern fare has reconcepted its suburban location, with the dining spot now focusing on Mexican cuisine.

According to a Twitter post from Boston Globe writer @kcbaskin (with a press release on it being sent to us shortly after her post), Masa Southwestern Grill in Woburn is changing over to Masa Taqueria & Tequila Bar, with the revamped spot having a more focused and casual menu and the space having a relaxed feel. The release mentions that the new taqueria features such items as tacos, enchiladas, roast chicken, fiesta bowls, braised pork shoulder, and tortas, with all menu items being under $20. Drinks at Masa Taqueria & Tequila Bar include a variety of beers, wines, and cocktails, and there are also dozens of tequila options available.

Masa Southwestern Grill first opened its doors in Woburn in 2008; the original location on Tremont Street in Boston's South End remains as is.

The address for the newly revamped Masa Taqueria & Tequila Bar is 350 Cambridge Road, Woburn, MA, 01801. Its website can be found at http://www.masawoburn.com/
