A Twitter post from yesterday evening shows that Temptations Cafe on Beacon Street near the Boston line has shut down, with a sign out front indicating that a bubble tea shop called TBaar will be taking over its space. A check on its website shows that this location of Temptations is indeed no longer on the site, though it appears that the remaining two locations on Beacon Street in Coolidge Corner and on Huntington Avenue in Boston near Northeastern University remain in operation.
No reason has been given for the closure of this location of Temptations Cafe, nor is it known which day was its last in business.
The address for the now-closed Temptations Cafe (and new TBaar) is 1038 Beacon Street, Brookline, MA, 02446. The website for the other two Temptations shops can be found at http://www.temptations-cafe.com/
[April 5, 2016 update: According to Patrick Maguire of Maguire Promotions, TBaar is now open, with Eater Boston saying that the new place offers hot and iced bubble teas along with juices, smoothies, coffee, and more.]
