According to a license board page within the city of Boston website, Los Amigos is looking to open in Brighton Center, with the address indicating that it would be moving into the Washington Street space where a location of Boca Grande is. Earlier, we had mentioned (via a job post) that Los Amigos might be opening the new location somewhere in Newton, though the wording of the post was unclear and it may have been referring to its existing Newtonville shop. (Another location of Los Amigos can be found in West Roxbury.)
The address for Boca Grande (and the new Los Amigos) is 366 Washington Street, Brighton, MA, 02135.
[February 2 update: According to a source, the Brighton location of Boca Grande is now closed and construction is currently underway; the source notes that a higher-end but similar dining spot will open in the space, which could indeed be Los Amigos.]
[August 19 update: A Twitter post from @BostonTweet indicates that the Brighton location of Los Amigos is now open. (Ed note--another location of Los Amigos recently opened in Brookline as well.)]
